In India, a woman who went to rob a bank on Friday was trapped inside for three days due to a holiday.
According to Indian media, a 40-year-old woman deposited money in a bank in Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya state, at 2 pm on Friday. After 2 o’clock the bank closed but the woman hid inside with the intention of robbery but unfortunately had to stay inside for three days.
The manager opened the bank on Monday after the Saturday and Sunday holidays and found the woman inside, which was immediately reported to the police.
Police reached the bank and arrested the woman. During the interrogation, the woman said that she had come to return to the bank on Friday but remained trapped inside for three days due to the closure of the bank.
